What are cookies?

A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.

We may use both “session” cookies and “persistent” cookies on the website. We will use the session cookies to: keep track of you whilst you navigate the website. We will use the persistent cookies to: enable our website to recognise you when you visit.

  5. Click OK

  1. Click on the wrench icon, within Chrome
  2. Select “Settings”
  3. Select “Under the Hood”
  4. Click “Content Settings” in the “Privacy” section
  5. Under the “Cookies” section select “Block sites from setting any data”

Internet Explorer 9

  1. Click the gear-wheel icon in the top right corner of the browser
  2. Click Internet Options
  3. Navigate to the Privacy Tab
  4. Set the slider to “High” or above
  5. Click OK to confirm

Safari

  1. Click the gear-wheel icon in the top right corner of the browser
  2. Click the “Privacy” icon
  3. Choose “Block cookies” as “Always”
  4. Close window
