History of Totalpost
2002 – In the UK, Totalpost (formerly known as Total Postweigh International Ltd) primarily focused on the development and manufacture of its own brand of postal scales that are still available today.
2005 – The UK business gained accreditation by Royal Mail as “third party maintainers & suppliers of franking machines” (UK only).
2008 – Started selling compatible franking machine cartridge consumables in an exclusive European distribution agreement for a US supplier, initially with a choice of 7 cartridges for one brand of franking machine available. We became the largest world wide dealer in less than 12 months.
2009 – In the UK, Royal Mail approved Totalpost’s own comprehensive range of high quality, cost effective franking machine ink or ribbon cartridges specifically designed and tested for franking machines manufactured by Pitney Bowes, Neopost, Francotyp Postalia and Frama.
2009 – The US company was opened, Totalpost Services Corporation to supply postage ink cartridges. Jeffrey Silverman was hired as the VP of Sales and Marketing here.
2011 – In the UK a postage ink cartridge manufacturing facility is set up.
2013 – Office opened in France.
2013 – Totalpost Services Corporation started a division known as Totalpost Security Systems with Christian Chahine as the VP of Sales and Marketing for this new division that will focus on developing the X-Ray screening market in the USA.
